Useful next-step tools

A simple Gospel outline

  1. God created us for relationship with Him.
  2. Sin separates us from God and is not something we can repair by becoming more religious or moral.
  3. Jesus died and rose again, carrying our sin and defeating death.
  4. We respond by turning to Jesus and trusting Him—receiving forgiveness and new life as a gift of grace.
  5. Following Jesus becomes a whole new life with the Holy Spirit, Scripture, prayer, community, and mission.

Keep the explanation conversational. Ask what the other person believes. Listen to their questions. You are sharing good news with a person, not completing a presentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the simplest way to start sharing my faith?

Begin by praying for specific people you already know. Stay attentive to natural conversations, offer prayer when someone shares a need, and prepare a short, honest account of what Jesus has done in your life.

How do I share my testimony without sounding rehearsed?

Use a simple before, encounter, and after structure. Practise until the story is clear, then speak conversationally. Keep Jesus central, avoid insider language, and leave room for the other person to respond or ask questions.

What should I do if someone does not want prayer?

Respect their answer immediately and continue treating them with kindness. You can still listen, help practically, and care for them without pressure.

Can Daniel and Katie train our church in evangelism?

Yes. Their training helps churches equip believers with simple tools, activate those tools in real life, and build a repeatable culture of outreach and follow-up. Email hello@loveontheworld.com to begin a conversation.
