Some numbers you count once and forget. Others are counted in heaven and never stop mattering. This is a report about the second kind: what God did at Jesus Festival 2026, and where it is going next.

What happened in the park

Friday evening was Pure Worship Night: a park full of people lifting up the name of Jesus under the open sky. Saturday was Family Festival Day, from morning until seven in the evening. Food trucks, a kids zone, bouncy castles, testimonies from the stage, and the gospel preached plainly, over and over, to a city that mostly never walks into a church.

Then the baptism tank. People who had met Jesus that very weekend stood in front of the crowd and were baptised, their friends shouting and crying at the edge of the water. If you want to know what joy in heaven over one sinner who repents (Luke 15:7) looks like on earth, it looks like that.

70+ salvationsreported by the festival team as of September 6, 2026.
50+ baptismsmany of them people who said yes to Jesus that same weekend.
3,000+ free mealshot dogs and drinks given away to the city, no strings attached.
A record weekendthe third Jesus Festival since 2024, every one free at Gage Park.

Every one of those numbers is a person with a name, a story and a family. The festival team's own thank-you and recap, with the people who made it happen, is at jesusfestival.app. We share these figures the way the team shared them: as early reports, held loosely, with all the glory going to God.

Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory. (Psalm 115:1)

Why a free festival works

We have written before about why a city needs a party, and 2026 proved it again. No tickets, no offering plate, no walls to get past. A park on a Saturday is a door almost anyone will walk through, and some of the people who walked through it this year met Jesus on the other side.

If you came, served, gave or prayed: thank you. If you would like to be at the next one, dates for 2027 have not been announced yet; the official announcement and a sign-up to be told first will appear at jesusfestival.app, and the festival's home is JesusFestival.ca.

The weekend ends. The harvest does not.

A festival is one weekend. The harvest is fifty-two weeks a year, and that is where most of our life is spent. Since Love on Hamilton began in 2014, that one outreach has grown into more than 20 weekly outreach teams: ordinary believers who go out on their own every week, to sidewalks, bus stops, shelters and campuses. You can read that story in Twelve Years on the Streets.

It has also grown beyond Hamilton. Love on The World now lists 12 city groups and prays for 36 nations, all plotted on one live movement map. People who said yes in Gage Park are being followed up by the same teams that will be on the streets this week. If you want to know what that follow-up looks like, start with Someone Said Yes to Jesus. Now What?

Where it is going next: 100 multiplying groups

We serve as missionaries with e3 Canada, in collaboration with I Am Second, equipping believers to share their faith and establish multiplying, life-changing churches. The assignment in front of us is bigger than anything so far: help establish 100 multiplying outreach groups, anywhere and everywhere around the world.

Why multiplying? Because addition will never catch up with the harvest. One team that reaches a city is a blessing. A team that trains a team that trains a team has no ceiling. Paul put the whole engine in one sentence: "the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others" (2 Timothy 2:2). Count the generations in that verse: four. That is the plan.

And because the gospel was never meant to stay inside Christian spaces, SIX33, our Christian lifestyle and culture brand built on Matthew 6:33, is coming soon to carry the same mission into gyms, garages, studios and feeds. A big part of its heart is raising funds for Love on The World, so as SIX33 grows, the giving grows with it.

Those who stay by the supplies share the plunder

After the battle at Ziklag, some of David's men had fought and some had been too exhausted to go further and had guarded the supplies. When the fighters wanted to keep the spoil, David made a rule that became law in Israel: "The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will share alike" (1 Samuel 30:24).

That is what partnership is. When someone on a sidewalk, or in a park, or in a city we have not reached yet meets Jesus, the person who prayed for that outreach and the person who helped fund it stand in that joy too. We have laid out the biblical case, and the practical ways to stand with us, in Plunder Hell, Populate Heaven: Partner With Us Through e3 Canada. The Jesus Festival app carries the same invitation from the festival's side, in Plunder Hell, Populate Heaven and the fuller impact report.

Your part in the next number

The fields are still white. Somewhere out there is someone whose name is about to be written in heaven because somebody said yes. Let's go together.

All for God's glory.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people were saved at Jesus Festival 2026?

As of September 6, 2026, the Jesus Festival team reported more than 70 salvations and more than 50 baptisms from the September 4-5 festival at Gage Park in Hamilton. These are early ministry reports, not audited figures, and follow-up is still continuing.

When is Jesus Festival 2027?

Dates for Jesus Festival 2027 have not been announced yet. The festival has been held every year since 2024 at Gage Park in Hamilton, Ontario, and is always free. The official announcement, with a sign-up to be told first, will appear at jesusfestival.app/jesus-festival-2027.

What happens after someone says yes to Jesus at the festival?

New believers are offered baptism on the day, prayed for, and pointed to a local church and to practical first steps. The Jesus Festival app has a private first-steps guide, and our weekly outreach teams through Love on Hamilton continue the relationship after the weekend.

How can I help the next harvest?

Pray for the teams and the city, join or start an outreach through Love on The World, invite one person to the next Jesus Festival, and, if the Lord leads, partner financially through our e3 Canada staff page, where gifts receive a Canadian charitable tax receipt.
